Dr. Massimo Bagnani is a bioengineer and cleantech innovator specializing in sustainable materials, circular economy, and environmental solutions. With an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a Ph.D. from ETH Zürich, he combines strong expertise in biomaterials and biotechnology to develop cutting-edge technologies that reduce waste, replace plastics, and create eco-friendly alternatives. Currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Food and Soft Materials Laboratory, Massimo focuses on food waste valorization and the development of next-generation bioplastics. Passionate about bridging science and real-world impact, he brings a deep commitment to sustainability, innovation, and creating scalable solutions for a low-waste future.
