Takeshi Ebihara is Chairman Director of Rebright Partners Pte Ltd, General Partner of Rebright Partners Investment Partnership, an independent venture capital firm headquartered in Singapore, with offices in Bangalore, India, and Tokyo, Japan. He has over 30 years of experience in venture capital and entrepreneurship, with a deep focus on supporting early stage tech startups across Asia.

Ebihara began his career in 1994 after graduating with a degree in Economics from Yokohama National University , joining JAFCO, one of Japan’s largest venture capital firms. In 2008, he founded Rebright Partners as an independent VC firm. In 2011, he relocated the firm’s base to Singapore to spearhead investments across
emerging markets in Southeast Asia and India.

He is a Certified Member Analyst (CMA) of the Securities Analysts Association of
Japan.

Beyond venture investing, Ebihara is actively involved in shaping innovation policy and mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs. His appointments include:

• Committee Member, Expert Panel for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Next Enterprise
• Committee Member, Japan Patent Office’s IP Acceleration Program
• Adjunct Lecturer at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore
