Anand Iyer serves as the Chief Business Officer at 5C Network, a Series A funded health-tech startup, based in Bangalore, India. In his present role, he is responsible for leading the company’s growth into the global healthcare space, driven by large enterprise healthcare players with large scale footprint and impact. As an AI-powered radiology solutions company, 5C Network is aiming to make inroads into significant enterprise market opportunities offered in the provider, payer, pharma, and government sectors.

Anand has over three decades years of business leadership experience spanning multiple sectors including IT, healthcare, telecom, electronics, internet, and energy. He has led start-up as well as growth stage businesses in India, serving in key leadership roles for Indian and multinational companies (in India and Asia). His early career was in Sales, after which he served in Marketing positions before taking on larger leadership assignments that included Country Management, Asia region as well as divisional global business leadership, and overall company leadership, as the Chief Executive Officer.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and is a PGDM graduate of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He is also an ICF trained Executive Coach.

Anand is passionate about startups and growth businesses, and actively mentors and coaches ambitious, visionary entrepreneurs and startup leadership teams, who dream of making game changing, disruptive impact in the markets they serve. He is a highly sought after mentor at the startup incubator NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore. His areas of expertise include Value Proposition and Go-to-market, and he has mentored over 400 startups to-date.
