Venk Krishnan is the founder of NuVentures, an early-stage investment fund that has invested in over 47 companies. The portfolio includes several high-performing ventures and unicorns such as MuSigma, Acko, BigBasket, HomeLane, Pocket Aces, ThirdWave Coffee, Geist Craft Beer, Pivot Robots, Lucidity, and Foxtale. A distinctive feature of the fund is its collaboration with NuWare, an IT solutions company also founded by Venk and based in the United States.

Before launching NuVentures, Venk founded GovXcel, a software startup in New York, which was later acquired by Mitchell Humphrey. He also held senior management positions at JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, and BellSouth in the U.S. Venk holds an Advanced Management qualification from The Wharton School and is an alumnus of BITS Pilani, India.
