Ravi Arora is a Sr. Vice President – Group Innovation, Tata Sons. He works with Tata companies on subjects like Innovation Culture, Crowdsourcing, Open Innovation, Capability building and Rewards & Recognition.

He has built Tata Group level programs like Tata InnoVista, Tata InnoVerse, Tata Ideas & eHacks, Tata InnoMeter, Tata InnoLearn and Challenges Worth Solving.

Ravi has earned his BE from IIT Roorkee & PGPX from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Ravi started his career at Tata Steel as a maintenance engineer. Later, after completing his executive MBA, he initiated & led the Knowledge Management program at Tata Steel, which was recognized as a Best Practice company by APQC, USA and won the MAKE (Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise) award (Asia & Global).

Most of these innovation & KM programs have been shared various forums including at HBS, CEB & many global conferences. Ravi is actively engaged with business schools like INSEAD, SMU for joint research projects at the intersection of Innovation & behavior science.

He is the author of two books:
