Electric Mobility Projects

Worked in Technology Group with a focus on next generation electric mobility programme.

• Created an extensive metallurgical property databank of 12 battery chemistry with different use & abuse testing conditions considered.
• Executed a comprehensive failure analysis methodology for LiB cells, leveraging the databank, & audited commercial cells from vendors.
• Developed battery material models for software platforms including Ansys, Comsol & Matlab enabling precise simulation.
• Collaborated with diverse cross-functional teams to create cell digital twins, supporting BMS algorithm development, thermal simulation, battery pack design, & Hardware in Loop modeling.
• Examined the thermal characteristics of LiB & created thermal management solutions utilizing silicone & phase change materials.
• Developed a dedicated recycling & recovery method for electrode materials, manufactured new cells & carried out life cycle testing.
• Electrochemical, Mechanical & Safety Testing of ESS for customer developmental work & as per standards.
