Aruna Schwarz is the Founder & CEO of Stelae Technologies – an Enterprise software company focused on the Industrial sector – Aerospace & Defence, Rail Transport, Shipping and Medical Devices segments and is a Winner of the Aviation Innovation Award at Wings India 2022, awarded by the Ministry of Civil Aviation for services provided to the Aerospace & Defense sector in the field of Digital Transformation and the Deutsche Bahn, Germany Future of Maintenance challenge in January 2020 and was named Indian Innovator for Global Aerospace, by the MOD at Aero India 2019.

Prior to founding Stelae Technologies, Aruna was at Rosebud Technologies – a content management solutions vendor in Paris, France where as Head of Marketing for Europe, she was responsible for developing and launching a suite of Content Management products.

Her experience also includes the launch of the B2B products in France for 9Telecom (a Telecom Italia subsidiary) as Head of the SME Marketing Group, Business Development & Product Head for Internet turn-key solutions for the Schlumberger & Cable & Wireless joint-venture for EMEA and marketing and product management roles at Cable & Wireless and BT in the UK.

Aruna has an MA in Economics from Bangalore University & an MBA from Aston Business School, Birmingham UK. She has spent all her career in Europe (UK & France) and relocated to Bangalore in December 2014.

Speaker at international events including, the US Aerospace and Defence User conference in San Diego, New Orleans and Seattle in 2015, 2018 and 2022, the ATA E-Biz conference in Las Vegas in 2019, the MRO South Asia conference in Delhi in 2020, 2024 and 2025.
