Siddhartha Anand works on the inclusive and sustainable growth agenda with companies which view India as a potential market. He engages with businesses helping them to design business strategy, business models and evaluate opportunities to leverage the India advantage.

In his previous role, he was the founding member of Invest India – India’s national investment promotion and facilitation agency, where he led various teams for expeditious grounding of FDI investments in 8 states. He also was the lead for projects such as India Industrial Land Bank, Industrial Park Rating System and various other key initiatives.

Before Invest India, at Tecnova, he helped more than 20 companies enter and expand their business in India.

In his current role at KDEM, he heads the startups and innovation practice – with a single focus of increasing the contribution of digital economy in the states’ GSDP. He interacts with the ecosystem stakeholders such as investors, accelerators, academia, government, and most importantly the startups – to make Karnataka the top choice for startups to start and scale their businesses.
