STRATEGIC ADVISOR IN AEROSPACE & AVIATION, FORMER MD & CEO OF AIRBUS INDIA OPERATIONS

Dwaraka is an Aerospace and Aviation veteran and has more than two decades of experience working for Airbus in Europe, Americas, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. He is currently an independent strategic consultant actively mentoring start-ups and in the Advisory Board of companies in Aerospace and Aviation, driving strategic development. He is also an Adjunct faculty at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and a Visiting faculty at Indian Institute of Management – Bangalore.

Dwaraka held several senior management positions at Airbus including the CEO and MD of Airbus Commercial Aircraft in India, member of the Board of Airbus Group India Pvt Limited and Airbus India Operations Pvt Ltd, Global VP for Engineering Services across Airbus Group, Airbus Global VP & Head of International Cooperation for Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa.

Dwaraka obtained his first degree in mathematics, an integrated master’s in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and received a Cambridge – Nehru scholarship to do PhD in Design Engineering from University of Cambridge, UK.
